Like a male Kali; it's compelling how you turn the preconceptions of myths so inside-out - and yet the fabric is the same. Originality mixed with traditional symbols (like the heart), and then the veins looking almost realistic where they're cut (while the rest of the picture looks stylized); the image could be read as a comment on symbolism/fantasy art meeting the "real" world as well, and the void inbetween.

The God Of Death?
The twisted image of a creature evil, and yet not, worries me. It is a fantastic and thought provoking peice, but I can't help hoping I don't see it whilst I am eating.
How did you come up with this...image?

This picture is hauntingly beautiful. Staring at it, I almost expect him to reach out from the screen and draw me into those ghastly hollow eyes. It sends a shiver down your spine and goosebumps over your skin. The colour contrasts used are lovely but most of all those eyes....ooOOOOooooh *shivers* So creepy but so enchanting...

I find this one really nice and original too cause of the realistic and mythologic alliance. But I wonder why is that God of Death a woman, version n2 to come ? :P

1... it's GOD of death -points at title-
2... I don't see any breasts.
3... why would it matter if it's a male or female? It's a god.. they shouldn't follow human rules :P

My first thoughts were that it is female, too! Look at the long, floating hair, bleeding breasts and slender face and build! She suffers under the unbearable weight of the Trinity! To me this symbolizes the collective Anima and our world as it is today. Pretty scary!

Hi i'm Dave, really like your style, is this painting about a close couple splitting up, or could it be just a three armed man with a stabing disorder :?

I see this as an abused child who is now cutting themselves because the abuse has cut to their heart. The haunting eyes are those of a child lost deep inside themselves and the webbed hand with the knifelike fingers - those of the abuser. The abusers cut is sharp and severe, the cuts the abused has made on their body is with a feather - a comforting kind of cut.

Creepy. Reminds me of the "deathly" side of mythology, no pun intended. None the less very creepy. I like it.
