-Edgar Allen Poe A button rotation project for sites of creativity. Members of Chimera [pop-up] Shiftingdreams is a livejournal community for all you creative people. It's welcome to everyone that has interest in sharing their work with others. Come check us out! The Rules • Sites must be fantasy, sci-fi, or horror related. Webzines, galleries, writing are all perfectly acceptable sites, but work must be either credited to the creators (in case of a 'zine) or must be 100% yours. The design must be clean and orderly, well thought out and done with some skill. If I cannot find your content, I will not allow you in. (content is the key factor.) • I am not a big fan of most anime, it must stand out some how for me to accept it. (anime without some form of sci-fi, fantasy or horror is not allowed. Period.) . Nor am I a big fan of 'fan art' or 'fan writing'. It must not be the main body of your work, some is fine though. • You must have webspace that allows direct linking for your banner image. And be sure it is 88x31 pixels. Animated Gifs or static JPGs are fine. • Please DO NOT add the code before you are accepted. • If your url for your button changes, please besure to let me know! If I find any broken images for a week's time, I will contact you, then remove you. You're more then welcome to resubmit. • Last but not least: If I do not like your work, I will probably not allow your site in. To Join please click here and create a new account. Be sure to only use a 88x31 pixel sized banner! That is also the link to go edit your account. This does NOT mean that you are part of the exchange just yet. Please wait till I accept your site before adding the code, as well. It shouldn't take more then a week and I will email you with either a yes or a no. I highly suggest placing your code after being accepted somewhere visible that will get a decent amount of traffic. The more times the banner code is viewed by visitors, the more exposures your site is credited, and the higher the chance that someone will click your banner. If it's hidden away, no one will see it and your banner will not get seen or clicked on. It's a 1 to 1 ratio (meaning one exposure means your banner will be shown at least once.) As an example when I check over sites, the ones that have theirs in a more visible place have near 10,000 exposures, while those that have it hiden away or on a pop-up "Joined" section are now only nearing 1,000. Should look like this: Chimera If you would like your code on more than one page, be sure to change page=01 to something like page=02 (2 places in code) and each new page you put it on, change that number.
