The madness in her eyes
The despair in my mind
Lead all to one thing
The swing of the axe
Upon our exposed hearts
The broken skin
Of the madman's smile
The executioner's grin
As he watched me watch her
Writhe in pain and remorse
He knew my secret

Struck where it hurt me most
To watch her in pain
And see the blood flow
To see it by my hand

The words fly from my mouth
And he cradles his fears
Growing and spinning
Released after these many years
He just smiles
Insane from my attack
And growls his mind
Until he cannot stand
I smile with joy
Knowing I cannot win

Upon my throne
Constructed of pain and hurt
He laughed as he stood
and brushed off the dirt
So she screams some more
Because she can and will.
