To dream and dream some more
Of something just out of reach
And to wake to the same empty
Hole inside of me
To weep after those dreams
Yet nothing can be done
They come back...
Always come back...
And to sleep...
To let them be back
And hope that they will soon be true
When I sleep, I am not alone
She is with me.
And I hold her close
Love her with all I can
While she loves me back
What I'd give for this
To actually come true
I dont know what to do
To yearn for those dreams
No matter how much it hurts
And I sleep some more
To let them visit
Wrapping myself in their joy
Am I setting myself up for
just more pain?
