It was so far
Far away to me
I held them close
The time of the day
Was getting nearer
With every tick

With every passed second
On the cursed clock
It has been there
From the starting day
My legs would wobble
And I would awake
To the start of another day
the sun shining down
Blinding my sensitive eyes
I stood, and dressed
And faced the next day
In the never ending book
The ongoing chapters
Write more every day
Feel the words around us
Read the words around them
It all flows into one
The music carries me
Never letting me go
No matter what song it is
I can feel it take me away
And either calm me down
Or hype me up
I let it all take me away
Take me where I soon must go
Away from these bugs
The bugs which annoy
The ones which bite
And leave a stinging pain
I cry for them to come back
From where they left me
So very long ago
To leave me in the dark
To let met be
Stark raving and mad
Yet more sane than them all.
