The unforgotten dreams
Racking up in my mind
Turning me inside out
My body contorting
In the absolute pain
My mouth widening
Screaming the words
Which should free me
From the ever tightening bonds
Straining to choke me off
Collapsing my lungs
Breathing less and less
My hands clutching
Everything slipping through
Slipping like sand
The more I try to hold
The more I feel the pain
The stinging memories
It's just one long story
Ongoing to the end of my world
Wading through the stagnant waters
I try to get out
But slink slowly into it all
The waters rushing over my head
The insanity taking me in it's arms
And I hold it right back
The eye of the storm
And I stare right back
No...
I wont give up
I was not raised to quit
I will fight my way out
To leave this hell behind
I will make me all right
I will force myself to survive
I will not let me fall...
Now... just to be able to do all that...
