Star Finder…

…and some other updates!

First up, I’ll be at St. Louis Wizard World, April 5th-7th! You’ll be able to find me and my work in the artist alley.

Star Finder

A few months ago, I made a work in progress of the first part of making the Star Finder for my patrons on Patreon. This video is now available on Youtube for anyone to watch! (there’s no sound, as a heads up)

You can watch it here.

I’ve got a few spots open for original sketches (The Branches Tier) sent to you in the mail EVERY month, as well as other goodies for anyone who would like to support me :) Feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions about what Patreon is! I’ve been on there for almost a year and it’s been a huge help with creating new art. I painted FOUR paintings in February, as well as 12 sketches of masked women. I haven’t been able to do that in years.

Patrons get to see behind the scenes work of paintings as they’re being created. Videos, work in progress sketches, goof-ups. There’s also coloring book pages that you can print out as many times as you’d like. The Earth, The Roots, and The Branches tiers receive mail as well as a print discount code they can use for as long as they’re a patron. This works on the website, as well as in person!

Feel free to check it out: Patreon.

Examples of some of the Masked Ladies

My Month of Love paintings are now available as prints in the Artwork section!

Again, I’ll be at Wizard World in St. Louis April 5th-7th, if you’re going, feel free to stop by and say hi!

End of the Year!

Starting to sign up for new shows for 2019!  I’ll be at GenCon for sure, everything else is still waiting for juries or submissions to begin.

Thank you everyone who purchased prints during the sale!

I’ve got a short preview of a new video I made for my patrons!  You can view the 30 second clip here.  They’ve got an 8 minute long work in progress video of a painting I’m working on, called the Star Finder.  Below is one of the mini paintings I created of him.  There’s also sketches and drawings to take a look at over on my patreon.

I’ve got a new tier for anyone interested in collecting small prints!  It’s called “The Earth” and the first print available is the one shown below.

You can sign up to become a patron here!  It’s a monthly subscription.  Stay for as long as you’d like and get insight on new work, doodles, coloring lines you can print out, and more!

Getting closer to 2019

And here we are, November.

I’ve started to look for art shows for next year, and getting the house ready for the holidays. Work is being finished slowly, but surely, and it’s piling up on the ‘done’ side of the pile.

For right now, the best place to catch some new art is over on the social media sites. Most of the work has been posted there, and not here on the website because they’re sketches and drawings. But here are a few selections:

Some pieces from Inktober:

The Creature of Shiloh – A story I’ve started to do art for.
There, just beyond the turn of a shadow, it arrived.
You can see more of the story as a patron!

I’ve added my two witches that I’ve completed so far, Cancer & Libra!

I have plans for the large painting, I hit 20+ people on my Patreon in October! Thank you so much for all the additional support with that, as well as just being fans. I lock myself away in the studio for so long that I start to question my existence, so it’s great that people come to see my work in person and online.

If you’re an artist or a writer of any kind and find themselves on Reddit, I’ve added a subforum to post work to! It’s still very new, so it’s been a learning process for me. You can find that here. Fallenlights Forum – I’m treating it like a forum from the late 90s and early 00s. Ask for help or just enjoy things others have posted!
